Standing for North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation, NORCECA is responsible for all volleyball activities that take place in its zone.  NORCECA is the continental confederation that represents its thirty-five (35) member countries at the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) level.

Formed in 1968 and based in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, NORCECA are responsible for staging Olympic and World Championship qualification tournaments, as well as continental championships for both men and women in Indoor and Beach Volleyball.

NORCECA’s mission is to govern, manage and promote all forms of Volleyball and Beach Volleyball for their continent. It aims to develop Volleyball within each and every affiliated National Federation, guaranteeing that it complies with the FIVB’s Rules and Regulations.

On the court

The United States of America, Canada and Cuba have been the dominant forces across Volleyball and Beach Volleyball, with the USA being one of only 3 countries to ever win multiple Olympic Gold medals in men’s Volleyball.  They won their first Olympic gold in women's Volleyball at the delayed Tokyo 2020 Games held in 2021.
They also were the first country from NORCECA to have a team competing in a Snow Volleyball tour stop in Moscow in December 2018, with the women taking gold.
