National Federations are invited to apply for the organisation of future age-group European Championships open to the U16, U18, and U20 age groups. The final stage of these tournaments features - as of 2023 - as many as 16 participating teams, thereby providing more countries and players than ever before with a chance to perform at the highest level in their respective age group.

Following requests received from several National Federations for an earlier event application and planning process, the CEV has opened the candidature process for the 2027 CEV Beach Volleyball Age-Group European Championships for the U22, U20, and U18 categories. 

In line with the overall CEV development philosophy, these events are regarded as key pillars of the CEV Beach Volleyball events structure, especially as they provide a clear pathway to support athletes in their transition from youth to elite-level competition.

Zonal Associations can apply for the organisation of officially homologated Zonal Tour events - which traditionally provide a platform for up-and-coming and less experienced teams to test their skills at the senior level while securing much-needed and valuable ranking points.
