CEV President pays visit to Albanian Volleyball leadership

A high-profile delegation from the European Volleyball Confederation did travel this past weekend to Tirana, Albania, for a series of meetings, with CEV President Aleksandar Boričić accompanied by CEV Senior Vice-President Renato Arena and CEV Board of Administration member Lubomir Ganev, who had responded with much enthusiasm to an invitation extended by the President of the Albanian Volleyball Federation, Mr Erlind Pëllumbi.

The discussions revolved around the activities designed by the Albanian Volleyball Federation (FSHV) to grow and develop the sport across the Balkan country. Albania is among the 28 countries to have signed up for the delivery of the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’, which is being implemented with much support from the National Olympic Committee and their President, Mr Fidel Ylli.

At the end of the meeting, Mr Pëllumbi presented an official jersey of the Albanian national team to the CEV President as a sign of gratitude for all the support provided to the Albanian Volleyball family for many years.
