Ivan Knežević (SRB)
First Vice-President
A professional Volleyball player with a career spanning from 1995 to 2012, Knežević has been the Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia (OSSRB) since 2016.
After starting his career in his home country, Knežević moved abroad to play for clubs from countries as diverse as Türkiye, Greece, Germany, France and Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a junior, he represented the former Yugoslavia on the international stage and after moving up to the senior ranks, he played for his home country at the FISU World Summer University Games in 1999 as well as at the 2001 edition of the Mediterranean Games.
After retiring from competitive sport, he worked as a sports director and team manager before his appointment as OSSRB Secretary General. He was made a CEV First Vice-President following the XLV CEV General Assembly held in August 2024 in Naples, Italy.
