ParaVolley Europe to organise first-ever Convention in Sarajevo

ParaVolley Europe (PVE) will deliver this coming February 20-22 the first-ever ParaVolley Europe Convention under the slogan “Activation Through Coaching.”
Supported by World ParaVolley, this landmark event will bring together the paravolley community from across the continent to exchange ideas, strengthen collaboration, and shape the future of the sport, with focus on paravolley at grassroot level.
What makes this Convention especially exciting is the participation of new countries joining the ParaVolley family, who will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches and experts in Europe, thereby gaining inspiration and practical knowledge to help develop the sport in their regions.
When? The Convention will take place on 20-22 February.
Where? Hotel Malak, Sarajevo (BIH)
What? The event will feature a welcome gathering on Friday evening, a full day of theoretical and practical sessions on Saturday, and interactive workshops on Sunday morning.
Who? Participants with different backgrounds can look forward to an inspiring and informative programme with contributions from leading experts and members of the international paravolley community. Confirmed guest speakers among others include Massimo Beretta (Italy), Ifet Mahmutović (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Jürgen Schrapp (World ParaVolley President), Branko Mihorko (ParaVolley Europe President) and Nello Calleja (PVE General Manager).
Registration fees:
Individual Registration: €240 per person
This includes:
• Accommodation in a single room
• Full board with three meals per day
• Transportation to and from the airport
• Free access to all theoretical and practical sessions at the Convention
Two Participants from the Same Organisation: €440 total
This includes:
• Accommodation in a double room
• Full board with three meals per day
• Transportation to and from the airport
• Free access to all theoretical and practical sessions at the Convention
The Convention aims to:
• Strengthen collaboration between national federations and ParaVolley Europe
• Offer learning opportunities through workshops and discussions
• Provide updates on future development opportunities
• Support the growth of paravolley in new countries / regions across Europe.
For whom is the Convention:
• People from Non-member nations who have an interest in starting with ParaVolley/Sitting Volleyball.
• Developing member nations who are just starting to get things established.
• People who have an interest in grassroots/sports development.
• Coaches (beginners or experienced) from developed member nations.
Registration is open now, with a deadline of 20 December 2025. Participants are encouraged to register early, as places will be limited.
