Mr Tevzadze showed much interest in knowing more about EEVZA, its aims and perspectives. Therefore, a truly productive discussion ensued and both sides agreed to make every effort for the further development of Volleyball.

Mr Tevzdadze admitted that since his election as President of the Georgian Volleyball Federation in December of 2025, he realised that he had many things to deal with in Georgian Volleyball, but he is absolutely confident that with hard work any issue will be resolved also via a productive cooperation with EEVZA.

At the same time, Mr Tevzadze could attend matches of the CEV Beach Volley Nations Cup 2026 Preliminary Phase held in Riga featuring local heroes and world-class players such as reigning world champions Tina Graudina/Anastasija Samoilova and 2024 European champions Mārtiņš Pļaviņš/Kristians Fokerots.
