National Federations of Montenegro and Hungary sign ground-breaking cooperation agreement

Earlier this week, the President of the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro (OSCG), Nikola Kažić, and the President of the Hungarian Volleyball Federation (MRSZ), Gabriella Vatai, signed a historic cooperation agreement, thereby elevating the already excellent relationship between the two organisations to an even higher level.
The agreement was signed at a press conference held at the Hungarian Volleyball Federation headquarters in Budapest and includes joint activities involving national teams and clubs, as well as the education of coaches and referees.
“It gives me special pleasure to be here today to sign this agreement which officially crowns our excellent cooperation in the previous period as well. I think that we are countries with a similar level of performance in Volleyball, with similar quality and way of functioning, and because of that we will understand each other very well and it will be easier to implement all the plans we have. I think that with joint activities we can significantly improve our national teams, but also will help the coaching and refereeing communities, so that we all progress quickly together and improve the conditions for Volleyball both in Hungary and Montenegro. Moreover, what I am particularly happy about is that Gabriella, as a newly elected president, shows great energy and dedication and wants Hungarian Volleyball to progress, so we have similarities on that side as well, and that is why I am sure that together we will do great things for the development of Volleyball in both countries,” said Kažić.
“It is a great opportunity for us to cooperate with the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro because we are on the same level, and it is very important to improve the opportunities for our national teams to play international matches. Our main goal is the development of the young generations and the support of young athletes. Therefore, we will organise youth tournaments together and will give our rising talents a chance to play matches of a higher level,” said Vatai.
In addition to President Kažić, Nevena Terzić, a member of the Board of Administration of the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, also attended the ceremonial signing of the agreement.
At the invitation of President Vatai, Kažić and Terzić also attended the Hungarian Volleyball Federation’s gala event, where awards were presented to the best players and coaches of the year.
