Marek Pakosta elected as Czech Olympic Committee Vice-President

The Czech Olympic Committee recently held elections to define its leadership, i.e. president and four vice-presidents for the next Olympic cycle 2025-2028. Jiří Kejval, who first became the head of the Czech Olympic Committee in 2012, will lead the organisation for another four years. The candidate of the Czech Volleyball Federation, CVF President Marek Pakosta succeeded in securing the position of Vice-President of the Czech Olympic Committee.

Pakosta is a former national team player and Olympian in Beach Volleyball. Since 2017, when he became the President of the Czech Volleyball Federation, he has been leading actions and initiatives with the aim of developing Volleyball and improving conditions for the sport. Moreover, since last year, Mr Pakosta has been a member of the CEV Board of Administration as well.
