IVVA World Veteran Volleyball Championship 2025 breaks all participation records

The IVVA World Veteran Volleyball Championship 2025 held last week in Benidorm, Spain, was the largest event in the 10-year history of the organisation responsible for the promotion of Volleyball for masters under the motto ‘Age is no limit’. It was a true celebration of sport, friendship, and the global Volleyball community, featuring as many as 52 Volleyball and 108 Beach Volleyball teams from 32 countries across the globe. 

Together, organisers and athletes created an atmosphere full of energy, passion, and smiles that everyone involved will remember for a long time. Benidorm proved to be the perfect host for such an event and the organisers are deeply grateful for everyone’s participation, support, and enthusiasm both on and off the court. The IVVA leadership would like to thank all players, referees, organisers, volunteers, partners, and sponsors who made this year’s championship possible. It was truly a dream come true – and the journey continues!

Next Stop: Prague 2026
