Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina, January 24, 2019. The CEV School Project “Play volleyball, grow with it” continues to develop in Brčko and it is headlined by the Elementary school league that started in the beginning of November 2018, and will last until April 2019, when the finals are planned to take place.

A special workforce was called in order to create the best possible Volleyball experience for the kids in this competition. Coaches from local clubs had an assignment to write the regulations for the School league. One of these include the rule that the first serve needs to be overhand, and second serve needs to be underhand, to raise the competitiveness of the matches, ensuring there are more actions on court as some girls and boys are not yet skilled enough to pass every overhand serve.

This project has gathered and connected Volleyball players, coaches from local clubs and teachers from Brčko to come together and to support the kids from elementary schools to play and enjoy Volleyball. The sports equipment schools have received in the framework of this project has greatly helped both teachers and kids to enjoy Volleyball even more.

Many of the kids involved with the project are now highly interested in the local clubs and in their journey in the European Cups, as they attend the home matches and cheer for their favourites. This was a great opportunity for the kids to see the best Volleyball players in the country performing on the court against skilled opponents from all over the world.
