Volleyball grows further in Greenland through Kidsvolley

We have received some good news from the Greenlandic Volleyball Association. After working intensively for a few years to get Kidsvolley started in the capital city, Nuuk and a continuous process going, the organisers have now succeeded. The main man behind this work is Mr Karl Ole Petrussen.

The focus throughout the month of April has been on the Greenlandic championships 2022-2023. The event was held this year in Ilulissat with Volleyball Club IV69 as the organisers. According to tradition, it is always Easter that is set aside for the Volleyball Championships. There are no matches played during the year due to the great distances and other logistical constraints, so the Greenlandic men’s and women’s champions were found at this event.
