‘Volleyball Day’ event engages large number of people in downtown Yerevan

On October 25, the ‘Volleyball Day’ event was organised on the Northern Avenue of Armenia’s capital city, Yerevan – it was an initiative of the Yerevan Municipality and the Armenian Volleyball Federation, which gathered a large number of players, coaches, other Volleyball lovers and even occasional by-passers as well.  

The event was attended by players and coaches training in Yerevan and at neighbouring sports schools as well, who delivered an engaging showcase of the game and joined friendly competitions as well. 

Representatives of the Yerevan Municipality and the Armenian Volleyball Federation were present and they all emphasised the significance and importance of the event for the further growth of the game in the country. Similar actions will be taking place elsewhere as well. The year 2025 has been a turning point for Volleyball in Armenia especially via the successful delivery of a historic #EuroVolleyU16M Final Round held in Yerevan in late July and early August.
