Earlier this month, the CEV School Project Manager in charge of the programme at the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, Mr Dragisa Calov, visited a number of schools across the Balkan country. Together with teachers Dragan Maskovic from Bijelo Polje, Marko Milinkovic and Zeljko Cmiljanic from Pljevlja, Resad Kadrovic from Rozaje, Igor Perkovic from Kolasin, Zoran Perutovic from Niksic, Milusa Filipovic from Mojkovac and Zoran Vojinovic from Zabljak, Mr Calov delivered a series of training sessions in the respective local sports halls.

Next to this, Mr Calov has completed the publication “Exercises for improving Volleyball technique and game systems for beginners”, which the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro will distribute to teachers from across the country as soon as possible. This will help grow their knowledge of the game and improve the quality of their PE classes.

Moreover, in early December, matches scheduled for the EKO mini volleyball league have been taking place every Sunday in Podgorica – with this mass-participation league run in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ as well.

Due to the upcoming holiday season, there will be a break until February 2023 when School Project activities will re-start as the second half of the school year gets underway as well.
