Technical fundamentals and athletic development for young athletes to be addressed in latest series of CEV School Project webinars
News
The CEV Development Department will soon run yet another series of webinars in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ with two high-profile speakers taking the virtual floor this coming December 18 and 19, 2025.
Paulina Maj-Erwardt, a former member of the Polish women’s national team, has successfully transitioned to life away from competitive sport. She is regarded as an expert in holistic human development. In her work, she combines sport, education, and body awareness with values she honed on the court such as consistency, courage and teamwork. As President of SPS Sparta Złotów and co-founder of the Amateur Volleyball League, she creates environments where sport builds character and a sense of belonging. She mentors young athletes, supports therapeutic programmes for children with disabilities, co-hosts the podcast Zdyscyplinowani, and serves on the Women’s Committee of the Polish Volleyball Federation. She will deliver a session with a focus on serving and reception in youth Volleyball, and more specifically on honing such fundamentals while working with young players aged 12 to 14.
The following day, Rosana Krajnc will deliver a session about strength and conditioning and athletic development for young athletes. Krajnc is a renowned Slovenian strength and conditioning coach with extensive experience working with youth and senior Volleyball teams, including multiple Slovenian national squads (U16, U17, U19, and women’s senior). Over the past decade, she has supported athletes across volleyball, basketball, and other sports, working with national champions and contributing to a European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) gold medal. As an educator, she regularly lectures at the Faculty of Sports and the Volleyball Coaches Academy on general conditioning and injury prevention. She is also the founder of the Curly Coach Athletic Development.
Both sessions are free and open to all grassroots coaches, PE teachers, and anyone passionate about Volleyball development!
