Mrs Foteini Massou, who is among the coaches responsible for the delivery of the project, organised a nice event under the slogan ‘Family Sports Day’ which was held on Sunday, November 20, at the elementary school of Tsirion in Limassol. The programme featured as many as 10 sports - apart from Volleyball.
With three outdoor courts available, two CEV School Project coaches (Mrs Foteini Massou and Mr Doros Tooulias) worked with the kids from 10 am until 4 pm. All Limassol clubs were invited to participate by sending their club coaches to take part in the event. The kids had the freedom to play even along with their parents, or to create their own teams and play competitive matches.

Teachers took part in the action too and everyone had a great time, with coaches from other clubs helping with the delivery of the session too. The Cyprus Volleyball Association School Project Manager, Mr George Stephanides, was there from start to finish. The school playing host to the event received sports equipment (Mikasa balls and net bands) to continue such activities during PE classes and involve even more children.
