Another school year means the return of the CEV School Project in Scotland, marking another year in its mission to promote Volleyball within the school curriculum. Throughout September alone, the project has collaborated with numerous schools across the country, introducing students to the exciting world of Volleyball!

As part of their involvement into the project, Scottish Volleyball has been distributing free volleyballs and net bands to both individual pupils and the schools that have enthusiastically embraced the programme. Moreover, Scottish Volleyball revamped their Volleyball Ambassadors programme this year, a course designed to teach senior pupils the basics of Volleyball, enabling them to go to local primary schools in their area and spread their new knowledge through after-school classes and volleyball festivals. Meanwhile, Regional Development Officers appointed by Scottish Volleyball have delivered at more than seven schools and universities so far!

This past September, five coaches and teachers travelled to Bulgaria for the fourth edition of the CEV Coaches Convention in Sofia. The conference was well received by all who attended, and the Scottish contingent are excited to bring back their newfound knowledge to Scotland. Plays are already underway to spread the valuable information learned with other coaches and teachers in the country.
