School Project helps grow the game in Azerbaijan

In their continuous efforts to grow the sport across the country, the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation has planned to visit children training with their respective clubs and schools.

Back on December 23, the CEV School Project Manager, Mrs Nargiz Ismayilova, travelled to the city of Khirdalan, where the local Volleyball club, Zirve, has already managed to engage more than 100 children aged 8-14 in their activities. She did also attend three friendly matches organised between Zirve and their friends and colleagues from the city of Sumgait. After the matches ended, Mrs Ismayilova presented the participants with little souvenirs as well as with School Project volleyballs – so that they can enjoy their involvement in the sport even further.
