Grodno, Belarus, January 9, 2021. The CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball - Grow with it’ continues to gain momentum in the Republic of Belarus. This past Wednesday, January 6, the Belarus Volleyball Federation delivered another Volleyball festival, this time in the city of Grodno, and more specifically at the premises of the local secondary school no. 37.
This action continues the series of activities previously organised in Minsk, Mogilev and Zhlobin. The staff from the local division of the Ministry of Emergency helped with the delivery of the Volleyball masterclass as well, thus creating a truly special atmosphere for the young boys and girls involved in the event. Next to Volleyball action, the kids could enjoy a number of other activities as well, such as putting on combat clothes, competing in speed and dexterity, participating in contests, life safety quiz, collecting puzzles and solving tests.
The project helps inspire and grow the next generation of Volleyball players in the Republic of Belarus. Volleyball has a bright future in the Eastern European country especially after Belarusian national anthems achieved great results in recent age-group competitions, including a bronze medal from the 2020 edition of the U19 Women’s European Championship held in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
