Earlier this month, the Kosovo Volleyball Federation (KVF) extended their work run in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball - Grow with it’ to the schools of Vushtria. This way, they had the privilege of participating in volleyball academies run by two of the best clubs in Vushtria, namely AS Vushtria and Vushtria F. These collaborations allowed the Kosovo Volleyball Federation to further immerse themselves in the local volleyball community.

One of the highlights of the month was the Volleyball Festival organised in the main hall of Vushtria. Approximately 70 kids enthusiastically participated in this event, showcasing their passion for the sport. The festival was a testament to the growing interest in Volleyball within the Vushtria community, aligning with the CEV’s mission to promote the sport at the grassroots level.

Additionally, the officials of the Kosovo Volleyball Federation visited primary schools in Vushtria, where they connected with young kids and teachers who shared the same love for Volleyball. It was heartening to see their excitement and enthusiasm. The KVF are pleased to report that they have established agreements to visit these schools more frequently and to conduct volleyball activities, thus fostering a deeper connection with the sport as part of the CEV School Project.

These developments in Vushtria have been truly inspiring, and the KVF are excited to continue their mission in partnership with the CEV to promote Volleyball and its positive impact on the lives of many young athletes!
