The scope and reach of the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ continue to grow, with Romania the latest addition to a continuously expanding list of countries and National Federations using it as a way to inspire the next generation of Volleyball players.

Romania’s partnership brings the total number of National Federations involved in the CEV School Project up to 30, with even more likely to follow soon. Romania’s participation is somehow a natural result of their involvement in the so-called Play Volleyball – Grow with it 2.0 (PVGW2.0) Project as one of the partners involved in the EU-funded programme delivery.

With the start of the 2025/2026 school year, the Romanian Volleyball Federation will be able to capitalise on the project and a variety of educational materials to promote Volleyball at school, educate PE teachers and coaches and help make sure youngsters enjoy Volleyball not only during their classes at school but eventually join Volleyball clubs in their neighbourhoods as well.

The CEV School Project continues to go from strength to strength (click here to review the figures for the last school year) and activities resumed earlier this week with the CEV Technical and Development Department meeting online with the School Project Managers representing all partner National Federations.
