The EKO Mini Volleyball league organised by the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro (OSCG) has achieved truly remarkable results, with 11 weekends of action producing as many as 440 matches across three categories. The culmination of the seventh edition of this massive volleyball project will follow on Sunday, May 19, at the Verde Complex in Podgorica.

At the closing ceremony of this year’s campaign, all participants of the EKO Mini Volleyball league will be awarded medals for their efforts and dedication. Following the conclusion of the EKO Mini Volleyball competition, an official match of the CEV Silver League featuring the national teams of Montenegro and Georgia will be contested, thereby providing children with the opportunity to support their heroes. This will undoubtedly be an exceptional event for all volleyball enthusiasts, including kids and other fans as well.

Elsewhere, when it comes to activities run in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’, this past month the OSCG organised a match involving schools from Mojkovac and Berane, with Team Berane having the upper hand with the score of 4-1. Additionally, in Rozaje, two schools from that city played a training match against each other.

The final of the competition for cities involved in the project is planned for mid-May. At this event, medals and trophies will be awarded.

There is also further promising news. National champions OK BUDVA have selected two boys from this project, Petar Zivkovic and Milos Mitrovic, to join their ranks. Moreover, Zivkovic has become a member of the youth national team of Montenegro competing at the international tournament Trofej Beograda in Serbia, which is a truly exceptional achievement and a great recognition for the CEV School Project.
