There have been two days of full Kidsvolley activity in Frederikssund, with participation of six schools from this municipality, which accounted for more than 250 children involved in the process from the second and third grades. During the matches, sixth-grade students were responsible for coaching and guiding the younger players. In the week after the event, 15 players showed up much to the great delight of Frederikssund Volleyball Club to continue their involvement in the sport.

There are five so-called Julemærkehjem in Denmark. At these homes, children come from all over the country for up to 12 weeks to strengthen their self-esteem and well-being and at the same time increase their knowledge of diet and exercise. Together with the Julemærkehjem, Volleyball Denmark runs Kidsvolley activities with the children, which supports the school’s work with further nurturing friendships and a good sports experience. Kidsvolley is a great activity for exactly this purpose. Earlier this month, such a visit was held at the home in Hobro. It was a lovely day where there were smiles and lots of movement. The organisers are confident that the experience will make the kids want to start up with Kidsvolley or another kind of sport when they return home.
