Kidsvolley a sport for everyone in Denmark

The CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ was a real hit this past September for the young pupils attending Kaerby school in Denmark. Many of the students did not know much or even nothing at all about Kidsvolley, so visiting the school accounted for a very good experience for them, and hopefully many will continue to play Volleyball at a local club. The balls from CEV are great for children who are just starting out, and a great asset for the school as well, so that they can organise and deliver additional Volleyball classes.

This was only one of a few visits and activities run by Volleyball Denmark in conjunction with the CEV School Project following the start of the school year. The children in Kærdussen were able to try their hand at Kidsvolley too. They had a fun and enjoyable experience and gave it their all – this is how the school describes it via a Facebook post.

Kidsvolley played outdoors with sun from a cloudless sky does something good for everyone. This is how the local pupils experienced it at Julemærkehjemmet in Skælskør when Volleyball Denmark visited the school on September 23. Julemærkehjemmet has students who are not all used to playing sports, but with a concept like Kidsvolley, everyone got a good experience.

It was full speed also when students from Julemærkehjemmet in Liljeborg received a visit from Volleyball Denmark. With brand new balls provided by CEV, Kidsvolley was played, with the kids competing for much coveted medals. It was great to see the joy of this sport that accommodates everyone’s needs and abilities – both girls and boys and those who are not used to playing sports as well.
