Inspiring Workshops Mark the Final Day of the CEV Coaches Convention

The CEV Coaches Convention (26-28 September, Zadar, Croatia) continued on Sunday with a series of engaging and inspiring workshops, bringing coaches and experts together to explore creative ways of Growing the Game in all its forms - from indoor, beach, and sitting volleyball, to parabeach, youth, and adult participation.

The workshops focused on two key tasks:

1. Sharing Best Practices - Each group was asked to present the three most effective “Grow the Game” programs or ideas from their own national federations and explain why these initiatives have been impactful.

2. Imagining Future Opportunities - Participants were challenged to design a program they would implement if given a grant from the CEV, detailing how it could expand the reach and inclusivity of volleyball.

The format encouraged collaboration, with three invited speakers guiding and supporting the groups. Each group had one dedicated speaker who helped structure the discussion and later presented the group’s conclusions to the wider audience.

The result was a vibrant exchange of knowledge, practical solutions, and forward-looking ideas, reinforcing the Convention’s mission: to inspire, empower, and equip coaches across Europe to grow volleyball at every level and in every setting.
