Highly successful U16 Volleyball festival delivered in Albania

School Project activities have resumed in Albania as well. The Albanian Volleyball Federation (FSHV) delivered during the holiday season a U16 mini festival in the city of Elbasan, which lies in the central section of the Balkan country, inviting young players from local schools as well as from the cities of Tirana and Fier. 

Moreover, the organisers involved the Dinamo team from Tirana too – whose players joined the festival and did also play some friendly matches. This way, the children present not only took part in the festival as active players, but they also enjoyed the performance of the Dinamo Team.

This activity represented a great opportunity for the children – all girls – to learn more about the Volleyball rules and how they could become, one day and through hard work, as good as their colleagues from Dinamo. It all starts at school – where the kids can discover the sport and take their first steps in appreciating its social side as well as the positive effects that it can have on both their physical and mental health.
