‘Free Volleyball School’ project to help revive Volleyball in Mojkovac

The President of the Volleyball Federation Montenegro (OSCG) Cvetko Pajkovic and the President of the Municipality of Mojkovac, Mr Vesko Delic, have signed an agreement for the delivery of the ‘Free Volleyball School’ project in the area.
In the next seven months, the Municipality of Mojkovac will provide financial support for students joining the ‘Free Volleyball School’ project, as well as compensation to the teachers at the local school ‘Aleksa Dilas Beco’.
Pajkovic expressed his satisfaction that the Municipality of Mojkovac has recognised the importance of this project.
Cvetko Pajkovic“It is a project that we started last year and the idea is that in all municipalities in the north of Montenegro, boys gather around Volleyball, and they do so for free. This way the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro will increase the number of male children interested in Volleyball and playing the game. Moreover, the goal is for all Volleyball schools to grow into clubs, so there are multiple benefits for the local government as well."

He pointed out that the ‘Free Volleyball School’ will revive the sport in Mojkovac, a municipality that once had their own Volleyball club.
Delic said that the Municipality of Mojkovac would try to support the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro in this project, expecting that the successful cooperation will continue in the future.

I am convinced that there will be great interest in this project. I also hope that the Volleyball school will help produce and grow new talents that will represent Mojkovac not only in Montenegro, but internationally as well."

The Volleyball Federation of Montenegro is running this project under the auspices of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, the Directorate of Sports and Youth and in cooperation with local municipalities and with the support of the Montenegrin National Olympic Committee and Sava Osiguranje.
