The Volleyball Federation of Montenegro (OSCG) has drafted ambitious plans for the second year of their ‘Free Volleyball School’ programme – which they run in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’.

OSCG President Cvetko Pajkovic has paid a visit to the cities and schools that have joined the 'Free Volleyball School' programme this far

OSCG President Cvetko Pajkovic and Project Manager Dragisa Calov recently visited elementary schools in the cities of Pljevlja, Zabljak, Mojkovac, Kolasin and Bijelo Polje. As many as 13 schools from eight cities have joined the ‘Free Volleyball School’ programme this far. Mr Pajkovic and Mr Calov presented the schools principals with Certificates of Appreciation and special gifts in recognition of their involvement and support to the programme.

The first year brought together almost 300 boys who started playing Volleyball, a very impressive number for a small country like Montenegro with a population of less than 700,000.

The ‘Free Volleyball School’ project will resume in October. Moreover, in conjunction with the CEV School Project as well, after a break of two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the OSCG will resume their EKO mini volleyball league, which is due to start by the end of October or early November, thereby involving many young boys and girls.
