EKO Mini Volleyball league to reach its climax this weekend in Podgorica

All elementary schools involved in the ‘Free Volleyball School’ project run by the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro (OSCG) organised as many as three training sessions a week throughout May.

Moreover, as they further expand the project across the Balkan country, the OSCG visited schools in the cities of Mojkovac, Kolašin, and Pljevlja. A qualifying tournament featuring elementary schools from Rožaje and Berane was held in Berane.

This coming Saturday, June 3, the sixth edition of the EKO Mini Volleyball league, the largest youth competition in Montenegro which for the second straight year is organised in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’, will be reaching its climax at Verde sports complex in Podgorica. The final stage of the competition will be taking place on a volleyball court equipped with GERFLOR, as a prelude to the CEV Silver League 2023 matchup between the women’s national teams of Montenegro and Georgia. All participants of the EKO Mini Volleyball finals will be awarded with medals.
