Dozens of PE teachers attend volleyball seminar in Armenia

Even though the school year is reaching its end, the Volleyball Federation of Armenia (VFA) continues to deliver activities run in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’.
In the gymnasium of the Sevan sports school in the city of Ashtarak, the Volleyball Federation of Armenia together with the Aragatsotn Administration delivered a volleyball training seminar with the participation of 42 physical education teachers representing general schools from across the region. The seminar was conducted by VFA Secretary General Karen Asmaryan.
Mr Asmaryan presented and discussed the major goals of the CEV development programme, as well as the rules of the game, and a variety of useful exercises designed to improve technical skills.
The attendees came up with the idea of organising a regional volleyball championship with the participation of public schools from the Aragatsotn Province with the support of the VFA this coming September. At the end of the seminar, the participants received certificates of attendance issued by the VFA.
