Croatian Federation takes CEV School Project to kindergarten
News
In February, a delegation of the Croatian Volleyball Federation returned to the western section of the country to further expand the activities previously run in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’.

Regional coordinator Mr Salapur delivered a session focussed on the key elements of the Volleyball game at Čavle elementary school. In addition to Volleyball elements, specific exercises with balloons and exercises working on speed, dexterity and agility were performed with the kids as well. Marko Crnković, a coach working for Grobničan club, joined the session too.
For the first time since embarking on the programme, the Croatian Volleyball Federation did also deliver activities at Radost kindergarten. Mr Surać, who himself is the father of two children, was the man in charge and all the kids were obviously delighted. Most of them heard about Volleyball for the first time. Who knows, maybe one day some of them will become elite players! In any case, it was a great idea that the Federation will be trying to implement elsewhere too.

In February, Mr Surać also visited the Homeland Gratitude elementary school in Knin where 24 girls attended the training. As many as 80 girls from that school currently play Volleyball, so the Federation is confident that the equipment provided via the CEV School Project (balls and net bands) has ended up in the right hands.
