The CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ did take centre stage right as the school year got underway on Monday in Armenia. A delegation from the Volleyball Federation of Armenia (VFA) and the Head of Volleyball in the region, Mr Andranik Tadevosyan, visited the secondary school of the Hatsavan community in Kotayk Province as children returned to their classes with much excitement.

A volleyball training session was organised specifically for the pupils from the fifth grade, whereby the students learned the ABC of Volleyball and could get acquainted with the rules of the game as well. As it has become a tradition whenever such sessions are delivered, sports equipment was provided to the school by the VFA so that such activities can continue in the coming weeks and months.

The Volleyball Federation of Armenia has already devised plans to visit many schools, children’s sports schools and clubs in Armenia throughout the 2024/2025 school year.
