Children fall in love with Volleyball in Hrazdan
News
This past Friday, December 8, the Volleyball Federation of Armenia (VFA) further expanded the reach of the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ with an action specifically addressed to the first-grade students of the Paruyr Sevak primary school No. 8 in the Hrazdan community, Kotayk Province, including pupils who have recently had to move there from Nagorno-Karabakh.

The VFA crew introduced Volleyball to the kids through a series of exercises, whereby they familiarised themselves with the rules of the game before playing an adjusted form of mini volleyball, all according to their skills and by trying to implement what they had just learned. They all showed much joy and enthusiasm, and you could tell by looking at their faces that the action had achieved its goal: the children had literally fallen in love with Volleyball!

The project managers prepared special gifts for the children of Nagorno-Karabakh attending the local school in Hrazdan such as balls and sportswear, and the school was given balls as well, a much-needed boost for the delivery of more such activities and classes in the coming weeks and months. Moreover, the students participating in the festival were awarded with medals specifically designed by the CEV for all those joining the CEV School Project.
