Albanian Federation and NOC work hand in hand to educate teachers and coaches

The Albanian Volleyball Federation (FSHV) is a close partner of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) in the delivery of a major project specifically addressed to school children and whose main aim is to create volleyball and basketball teams in secondary and high schools in each city across the Balkan country.

Therefore, the FSHV and the NOC have joined forces also in delivering the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’. The FSHV has chosen volleyball coaches with the specific qualifications to build and train volleyball teams, and it has offered training sessions to the teachers prior to the start of the project.

This past March, the two organisations worked together on the delivery of a theoretical and practical training session in order to have more qualified teachers. More than 160 were involved in this project, with the session run by CEV Instructor Kristof De Loose of Belgium (click here for further info). The FSHV regard this activity as of great importance, and the attendees showed much interest, especially in the content of the practical session.
