Tirana, Albania, June 20, 2019. The Albanian Volleyball Federation (FSHV) in cooperation with the FIVB hosted from June 15 to 19 a Coaches Course run by renowned lecturer Athanasios Papageorgiou, who spent several days with Albanian coaches to share the latest insights into the Volleyball world.
This is the third such course organised by the FSHV in order to increase the technical level of its coaches. “I am delighted with the participation and interest, as this confirms your desire to be informed and to grow your expertise and knowledge. This means that tomorrow we will have more prepared coaches and more professional Volleyball players as well,” said Mr Albens Vokopola, Secretary General of the FSHV.
The main lecturer of this seminar, Mr Athanasios Papageorgiou, was satisfied as well, especially with the participation of a number of female coaches. “I am sure that we did a very good job and that we could convey and share the right knowledge. We have done an intensive work and I would like to thank the participants as well as the Federation for organising this seminar,” said Papageorgiou, who donated some books to the library of the FSHV as well as to the attendees, who achieved the best results at the end of the course.
The workshop included both theoretical and practical classes, held at the Olympic Park and at the Feti Borova sports hall in Tirana.
