#1DayMore4Volleyball a big hit in Maltese schools
News
This past February 29, several Maltese volleyball clubs and schools participated in the third edition of the #1DayMore4Volleyball initiative organised by the CEV in conjunction with the leap day.

Numerous events were organised by schools, who through various and different activities, held their own event on the day, thus involving hundreds of children all over the island. Most of these schools participate actively in the CEV School Project or participate in school tournaments as well.
A significant volleyball festival for primary school students was organised at Santa Clara College San Gwann Primary. All students participated, played, and showed their skills on several stations, all volleyball related. This event was the conclusion of a multi-week programme held at this school as part of the CEV School Project led by Mr Charles Gauci.
The atmosphere was simply fantastic throughout the whole morning. A big thanks goes to the Head of School, former indoor Malta national team player Mr David Caruana, for his enthusiasm and support throughout the programme and event.
David Caruana“Our school is participating in the third edition of the #1DayMore4Volleyball event, bringing people together from all over Europe to celebrate Volleyball. The goal is to demonstrate that Volleyball is inclusive for everyone, no matter their background, skills, or age."
