Following a high-profile visit from representatives of Albania’s Olympic and Volleyball family to the home of European Volleyball in Luxembourg this past February (click here), a workshop run in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ was held in Tirana earlier this week. The Albanian Volleyball Federation delivered this clinic in close cooperation with the CEV Development Department and with the support of their National Olympic Committee.

Albania is among many countries (25+) where the next generation of volleyball players is being inspired and grown through the CEV School Project. The workshop was organised at the Palati Sportit Farka Volley in Tirana with participation of as many as 162 coaches and teachers who followed the theoretical and practical sessions delivered by CEV instructor Kristof De Loose of Belgium.
Gerti Shima“We, as NOC Albania, fully support the efforts of the Albanian National Volleyball Federation to develop the professional skills of their coaches by bringing to the country, through the CEV, the best European expertise in this area.”
