Serbia’s Head of State hosts CEV EuroVolley 2021 Women highest authorities

Aleksandar Vučić, the President of Serbia, has hosted a reception for the officials and authorities involved in the 2021 edition of CEV EuroVolley Women – which is about to reach its climax in the Serbian capital city with the semis pitting Serbia against Turkey and Italy vs. the Netherlands.
Mr Vanja Udovicic, Minister of Youth and Sports in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and Bozidar Maljkovic, President of the Serbian Olympic Committee, were among the invitees.
CEV President Aleksandar Boričić was at the helm of the delegation representing the European Volleyball family, which included CEV Senior Vice-President Renato Arena as well as CEV Vice-President and EuroVolley 2021 Women Jury President Lubor Halanda.
Zoran Gajic, President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia (VFS), attended the reception as well, together with VFS First Vice-President Djula Mester and Vice-President Jelena Nikolić.
The CEV President presented Aleksandar Vučić with a special trophy as a sign of gratitude for the patronage and exceptional support provided by the Serbian government in the organisation of the women’s European Championship.
