It is a major challenge for the Balkan country, as the visitors underlined the many obligations and commitments that they must fulfil to deliver the flagship event for national teams. However, Mr Karanović and Mr Stojanovski exuded confidence and stressed that this remains a unique opportunity to place their country on the international sporting map and to inspire the younger generations to play the game while supporting the home heroes – who will be making their third straight appearance in the continental elite competition.

The CEV EuroVolley 2023 Pool C matches will be taking place in Skopje from August 30 to September 6 where North Macedonia are due to play the national teams of Czechia, Denmark, Montenegro, the Netherlands, and 2021 EuroVolley bronze medal winners Poland.
