The goal of the meeting was to have an open exchange of views and identify actions likely to support the development of Volleyball in Israel. President Kaso provided updates on the work of the Federation and the Israeli clubs, with an emphasis on their project of a Volleyball Academy and the ambitious work planned to grow the next generation of Israeli Volleyball players. Moreover, Mr Kaso expressed the interest for greater participation of Israeli clubs and national teams in competitions run by the CEV.
The CEV President did welcome the wish expressed by the Israeli Volleyball Association to become more active, especially through the delivery of joint training camps with teams from other countries and regular participation in age-group zonal competitions run by MEVZA.

It was especially important that representatives of the National Federations of Italy, Bulgaria and Serbia partly joined the talks with the Israeli delegation. They all agreed with the proposal made by the CEV to deliver some joint actions in the near future in order to help the Israeli Volleyball family achieve their ultimate goal – i.e. participation of their national teams in EuroVolley 2025.
