CEV President attends CAVB African Nations Beach Volleyball Cup in Morocco

During his journey to Morocco in early August, apart from witnessing the signing ceremony of a historic cooperation agreement involving the National Federations of Morocco and Israel, CEV President Aleksandar Boričić did also make time to visit the CAVB African Nations Beach Volleyball Cup.

The CEV President used this opportunity to address representatives from a large number of African National Federations, thus sharing experiences and lessons taken from the latest actions undertaken in Europe to grow the Volleyball game – especially at the grassroots level.

His visit and the meetings organised in Morocco testify the readiness of the European Volleyball family to explore and develop potential further synergies and initiatives with their African counterparts. The CEV President and CAVB President Ms Bouchra Hajij agreed to continue such a conversation later this year in order to define programmes that can benefit their respective Volleyball communities.
