#1DayMore4Volleyball is back! The innovative action run by the CEV in conjunction with the leap day, February 29, returns for its third edition after it managed to mobilise tens of thousands of people both in 2016 and 2020 to play Volleyball and promote the sport at the grassroots as much as at the elite level across the whole of Europe!

February 29: we live and experience this ‘extra’ day only once every four years and since 2016, this day is very much associated with Volleyball. This time, #1DayMore4Volleyball is specifically designed to send out a message of inclusion and diversity, to show that Volleyball truly is a sport for everyone regardless of age, physical or technical skills, the surface you play the game on, and much more!
We invite you all to play the game with your friends, family, teammates, colleagues, etc. and to do so on February 29 to make sure that this day is again a true and full celebration of Volleyball in all its forms – and of its power to build bridges, spread good vibes and bring people together in a spirit of friendship, fair play, and good camaraderie!

There is also an extra incentive for you to do so: if you register via the official website and share photos or videos of your volleyball action on this special day, you are up for one of the much-coveted prizes offered by the CEV to mark the occasion and reward you for your creativity, ability to mobilise people or to promote inclusion and diversity! Check out the official website for further information and get ready to play ball on February 29!
Follow the CEV’s social media channels and the official hashtag #1DayMore4Volleyball to keep yourself up to date, as some real Volleyball stars will be joining this unique action as well!
