Project History

The Volleyball Federation of Ireland officially signed their contract in May 2018 to join the CEV School Project "Play Volleyball, Grow with it". The project has been successfully received by the community and already has 3 partnerships: Cork Local Sports, South Dublin Sports, and South County Dublin. From 2019, they launched a new strategic 4-year plan which will target a 50% increase in the number of licensed players and coaches. Wow! We are pleased to present the progress in the Ireland so far.

"The CEV School project has been a resounding success story here in Ireland. With the support from the project we have been able to reach out, introduce and bring more students and teachers into our exciting game of volleyball. The positive feedback from school after school is a great feeling that we are moving in the right direction on this project."
