Lubomir Ganev (BUL)

A Volleyball icon of the late 80s and 90s, Ganev represented Bulgaria internationally from 1985 to 1998 and spent most of his professional career in Italy after claiming the Bulgarian national championship title for five seasons in a row with CSKA Sofia.
A member of the CEV Athletes’ Working Group since its establishment in 2017, Ganev has been the President of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation since March 2020 and elected a CEV BoA member in October 2020 with the highest number of votes among all the candidates standing for the position.
