The partnership between the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) and Vodafone, which supports women’s Volleyball, has been extended for a further three years. The renewed agreement was announced at a special evening held at Esma Sultan Mansion, where the achievements of Türkiye’s national teams in 2026 were also celebrated.

The event was attended by Turkish Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ, Vodafone Türkiye CEO Engin Aksoy, TVF and Vodafone executives, members of the women’s national team, which won the CEV EuroVolley, Volleyball Nations League and Mediterranean Games, captains of Türkiye’s women’s youth national teams, representatives and team captains from Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi clubs, and other invited guests.

The evening celebrated the success of Türkiye’s national teams throughout the year in international competitions, with particular emphasis on the women’s national team, which won both the Volleyball Nations League and the CEV EuroVolley in 2026, thus repeating its double triumph from 2023.

Under the renewed partnership, Vodafone will continue as the title sponsor of the Sultanlar Ligi and the main sponsor of Türkiye’s women’s national teams for another three years. Vodafone will remain on the front of the jerseys worn by both the senior and youth national teams, while the league will continue to be known as the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi.

A new era of technology in the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi

Vodafone’s technology investments will continue throughout the new sponsorship period. As part of this commitment, the partnership with global sports technology company Bolt6 will make the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi the first domestic Volleyball league in the world to use Bolt6 technology.

During the play-off phase, operations for the Video Challenge System are planned to be managed remotely from Bolt6’s centre in Gliwice, Poland. With the integration of 5G technology, the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi is also set to become the first domestic league in Europe to have its match operations managed remotely.

During the previous sponsorship period, Vodafone introduced a range of initiatives combining Volleyball and technology. These included the integration of the Hawk-Eye technology into the Sultanlar Ligi, technology support for international women’s Volleyball matches hosted in Türkiye, and the Türkiye Tribune project launched during the Ankara leg of the 2026 Volleyball Nations League.
