Three elite keynote speakers confirmed for CEV Coaches Convention 2025!

Three incredibly qualified speakers – Saskia van Hintum, Eric Hodgson, and Nataliia Klimenova – will be leading the way and help inspire coaches from across Europe later this year when the annual CEV Coaches Convention takes place in Zadar, Croatia from September 26 to 28. Set against the backdrop of the sun-kissed Adriatic coast, this event will combine world-class coaching insight with one of Europe’s most scenic and iconic Volleyball destinations.

A 1996 Olympian for the Netherlands, Saskia van Hintum has been coaching at an elite level for some two decades, leading successful Volleyball and Beach Volleyball programmes in a variety of nations such as Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. As a female coach, she has been a trailblazer in many ways and has helped shape the careers and lives of numerous athletes – always true to her total passion for the sport and as a firm believer that Volleyball helps develop skills that will remain with you for a lifetime!  

Eric Hodgson, a passionate advocate for grassroots growth in the USA, returns to the CEV Coaches Convention – he was a keynote speaker at the 2023 edition held in Sofia, Bulgaria, as well. He is not the “typical” Volleyball coach – i.e. a former player who later became a coach. He started by a lucky chance that changed the course of his life, as his then 11-year-old daughter wanted to play Volleyball. He fell in love with the game as well and coaching has become an integral part of his life ever since.

Born in Ukraine and now based in Calgary, Canada, Nataliia Klimenova is a successful youth coach and an incredibly digital-savvy mentor whose Volleyball content has attracted over 100,000 followers online. She inspires pupils and students alike with her practical, no-nonsense coaching style and she will bring and share that same energy and approach to the 2025 CEV Coaches Convention! A former professional player turned coach and founder of Natke Volleyball, Nataliia is known for turning digital platforms into powerful coaching tools - and for showing coaches how to connect with players effectively both on and off the court.
