Volleyball family mourns untimely death of Julia Ituma

Shocking news reached the Volleyball family on Thursday morning after the body of Julia Ituma, spiker of Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA, was found dead in Istanbul, only a few hours after the CEV Champions League Volley 2023 semi-final match against Eczacibasi Dynavit.

At a loss for words, the European Volleyball family extends the most heartfelt condolences to Julia’s family and friends. The Turkish police is currently investigating the circumstances of Ituma’s untimely death. In the meantime, the Italian Volleyball Federation have announced that a minute’s silence will be observed at every match scheduled from today up until this coming Sunday.
