School Project involves more school pupils in Croatia

The Croatian Volleyball Federation (HOS) has further expanded the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball - Grow with it’ to the Lika-Senj County, where, in cooperation with the Croatian School Association, a volleyball session plus motor exercises with fun games was run at the Dr Franje Tuđman Primary School in Korenica with the help of local teacher, Ms Lidija Kovač.

The school was also a participant in the state championship held in Poreč this year. The response was at an enviable level, with much praise for the organisation.

This coming weekend, a volleyball festival counting as the Croatian junior cadet championship will be taking place in Zadar with participation of 18 and 12 teams comprising of young girls and boys, respectively. More than 500 players will contest the event lasting for three days and the best individuals from the teams will be selected and awarded as well.
