School Project helps engage with hundreds of kids across Kosovo

The Kosovo Volleyball Federation continues to work to inspire the next generation of Volleyball players with the help of the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’. Most recently, children from the Gjilan area were able to share the love for Volleyball together with coaches/PE teachers of that same region.

The latest Volleyball festival held in December featured participants from KV Drita, KV Kamenica, and KV Arberia. The action involved some 120 kids under the age of 12 and seven coaches/teachers.

In January, another such festival will be held in Skenderaj, with young pupils from Skenderaj, Mitrovica and Klina coming together with the coaches appointed by the Kosovo Volleyball Federation to enjoy a similar experience with Volleyball.

Moreover, in January, the Kosovo Volleyball Federation will be trying to organise a coaching workshop with Donald Suxho, former member / setter of Team USA and a two-time Olympian, who is due to visit the Balkan country following his appointment as head coach of the U17 women’s national team.
