With kids returning to school, activities run by Volleyball Denmark in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ have resumed as well.

Recently, Kerteminde Volleyball club started the season by paying a series of visits to Kerteminde Byskole. They visited the local school as many as three times and introduced their pupils to KidsVolley. The kids played KidsVolley, fought hard and laughed throughout the visits. The school eventually received a set of volleyballs, which will make the development process run even smoother in the coming weeks and months.

Moreover, Volleyball Denmark's Project Manager Christina Attrup Juhl and Randi Fechtenburg dropped by Copenhagen’s Professional College to introduce KidsVolley to some 40 future teachers and their instructors. The visit is part of a new concept, whereby Volleyball Denmark, together with several other sports organisations, is delivering workshops for aspiring teachers in a new Sports Festival. The school is the most important point of contact for children and young people, and Volleyball Denmark therefore see great value in developing such a connection. KidsVolley was obviously a huge success, and the organisers hope that future teachers will take such valuable lessons to their next workplace.
