The CEV Development Department has launched the 14th series of webinars run in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ featuring two well-known and respected speakers – namely Dr Nikola Dimitrov and Rosana Krajnc.

Dimitrov’s webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, at noon CEST. To register click here. Dimitrov will explore how coaches can bridge the gap between training and real match performance by creating game-like learning environments that enhance players’ decision-making, confidence, autonomy, and performance transfer. Building on his previous webinars on engagement and structure, this session brings the concepts together into practical coaching reality.

Nikola Dimitrov is a renowned Bulgarian Volleyball coach, educator, and co-founder of the Lion Hearts Volleyball Academy, recognised for his modern approach to youth athlete development and performance learning. Combining experience from elite Volleyball environments, national teams, and educational coaching, he focuses on creating engaging, game-based training environments that develop decision-making, confidence, and long-term athlete growth.

A passionate advocate for continuous improvement, Nikola blends lean thinking, gamification, athletic development, and leadership principles in his work with coaches and young athletes. Over the years, he has worked with several Bulgarian national teams and leading clubs, while also contributing to international coaching and educational initiatives. Following his successful contributions to the 7th and 9th waves of the CEV School Project webinars, Nikola returns for the 14th wave to continue sharing practical insights and innovative coaching perspectives.

A day later, on June 3, Rosana Krajnc will be continuing the discussion on young athletes’ athletic development she initiated some time ago through practical, age-appropriate training approaches. The session will explore how coaches can support long-term performance, movement quality, injury prevention, and physical preparation in youth Volleyball environments. To register click here
